Good Morning Church Family,
Yesterday, we listened as Jesus explained His understanding of the Father’s timing. His schedule was not rushed by the opinions of others but set according the counsel of God.
The great news is that it is not up to us to know every detail of what happens next. We can rest in the timing and planning of God, but this does not mean that we should be negligent about how we live our days. We should intentional about pursuing faithfulness with the time God has given us.
Hebrews 4:11 tells us, “Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.” A disobedience which was marked by a failure to trust the counsel of God to into the promise land.
So take this week or this day and catalog how you are using your time. Intentionally ask if you are progressing toward Christ, if your days are marked by faithfulness in every area of life, if those who you influence are being shown Christ’s love, if the Word is informing you attitude and actions. If they are not do not go and pout; pray, make a plan, and get some accountability. Draw to the throne of God for merciful forgiveness and powerful grace to transform it all.
We love you, were praying for you, and we hope you have a wonderful Monday morning!
