Power In the Up Hill Climb

Good morning church family,

Have you ever had a morning where nothing went right? Your printer breaks, you can not find your keys, the dog is underfoot, and the baby has a blow out. I have had those days more than I would like to admit. Yesterday morning was one of those mornings where everything was up hill.

Then you open the Scriptures to read Colossians 1:28-29. “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all His energy that He powerfully works within me.”

His energy that He powerfully works in me. Sometimes the up hill climbs we face are from a kind intention of God to remind us that it is about Him. He will accomplish what He started.

The struggles do not become nonexistent but if we did not face them maybe we would be tempted to think His power in us is nonexistent. So embrace today for all the providential inconveniences, tragedies, and up hill climbs it comes with. His power is at work in you as you follow His call toward faithfulness.

We love you, we’re praying for you, and we hope you have a wonderful Monday morning!

Peace,

David
