Good Morning Church Family,
Yesterday, we saw God’s design to bring people from death to life through the prayerful proclamation of His word. People may wonder why we offer so many opportunities to serve our community, and that’s because we want to make the most of the little time we have on this side of eternity. We want to serve in practical ways that create open opportunities to share the gospel.
Jonah was a struggling servant of God who wrestled with His will. Yet, the word of God accomplished the work which God commissioned it to do through the mouth of Jonah. It is no different for you. The bigness of God’s plans are progressed through little acts of faithfulness, each of us are called to deliver His grace in word and deed. Have you prayed for eyes to see the opportunities He has given us to give His love to others? Ephesians 5:15-16 tells us:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
How will you be spending the summer? Whether you are blessed with a summer off or it is work, are you making the most of your time? Everyday is an opportunity to serve, God’s purposes do not change. While the way, the place, and the time of sharing the Gospel might differ; His faithfulness to call people to Himself never does.
Ask God today, How can I make the most of the little time I have before eternity? Be faithful to give His love. Leave the results up to Him in prayer.
We love you, we’re praying for you, and we hope you have a wonderful Monday Morning!
