Letting Light In Our Days

Good Morning Church Family,

Are the lights on this morning? Or do you feel a fog as you start this week? Jesus told us Sunday in John 8:12 that He is the light of the world, and those who follow Him no longer walk in the dark but receive the light of life. So, are you going to choose to walk in the light of Jesus today?

Sometimes in the heat of a moment we are convinced me must react immediately if not sooner. What if this week we rejected the notion that we must hurriedly make decisions? Instead of living a reactionary life let’s chose to stop and take what is before us into the light of Jesus; allowing Him the time necessary to illumine our circumstances clearly before we act. It might slow you down, but growing in holiness takes time.

The best things take time to cultivate. The hope is that eventually we find ourselves reacting like Jesus naturally, compassion, mercy, and the like become our second nature. However, the journey to that place is not overnight. Let’s make this small step together and see where it leads us!

I hope you’ll make an effort to attend life groups this week and help others walk in the light with you!

We love you, we’re praying for you, and we hope you have a wonderful Monday morning!

Peace,

David
